Experience

What the work demonstrates

UrbanTech is developing UrbanSight tools and services to support tunnel inspection teams with high-resolution imagery, station-referenced visual records, condition mapping, and inspection history. These resources help teams plan field work, document current findings, and compare records across inspection cycles. Qualified inspectors and engineers determine the inspection scope, perform the required inspection and verification, and make engineering evaluations.

Highlights

01

A multi-camera field imaging rig captures overlapping high-resolution coverage of visible tunnel wall and ceiling surfaces.

02

Captured imagery is rectified, stitched, and organized into a station-referenced Tunnel Surface Mosaic that preserves continuous surface context.

03

Known findings can be linked to persistent defect IDs so inspectors can reference prior observations during each inspection.

04

Pre-field imagery provides reference information for inspectors. Defect classification, extent, severity, and cause require field verification and engineering judgment.

05

Organized records help inspectors compare observations across inspection cycles and document conditions and verified changes.
